Simple Thank You Cards

I like to send a little thank you card to anybody who places an order with me - these need to be quick and simple and a design I'm able to mass produce.

I used a simple whisper white card base measuring 4" x 4" and the gorgeous scroll stamp from the Creative Elements Stamp Set stamped in Lucky Limeade, the thank you from Curly Cute which I love is stamped in Midnight Muse and framed using the new Bitty Banners framelits to cut out the sentiment, the elegant butterfly punch and my favourite Daffodil Delight patterned paper from Floral District.

Come see what I made:

They really are quick and easy to make.  I made two different designs I did a mixture of both cards.  The second card uses the same elements apart from the butterfly which is stamped using one of the butterflies from Papillon Potpourri stamped in Raspberry Ripple.

Betsy's Blossoms

I do love the Betsy's Blossoms set so many possibilities and ideas especially with so many gorgeous colours and papers to compliment the set.

I used the wonderful new in colours again (midnight muse, primrose petals, gumball green and daffodil delight - this is becoming quite a favourite combination of mine!).   I used a strip of paper from the very very gorgeous floral district papers a phrase from the brand new friendly phrases set which has SIX gorgeous sentiments and is great value at £13.95 for the clear set.  I also used Betsy's Blooms which is one of the Stampin Around wheels and is only £5.95 I have to confess I struggle with the wheels and get much more usage and value out of mine by converting to a cling stamp.

I popped the bloom up on a dimensional and added a bit of bling with the very dazzling rhinestones this was a new purchase for me and one I hadn't used before and I was very impressed with the sparkle on these beauties.

How pretty are these papers they are called Floral District and the colours include Baja Breeze, Lucky Limeade, Rose Red, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry and Tangerine Tango there are some gorgeous prints in these papers and they are £9.95 for 12 sheets of double sided 12 x 12 papers perfect for scrapbooking or card making.

Curly Cute meets Betsy's Blossoms

Are you looking for a versatile stamp set that can offer you a beautiful finishing touch to all your cards?  I used an old favourite and a new stamp set for this card.

The script font to this sentiment set is just so beautiful and with five stamps it offers you something for every occasion.Curly cute stampin up stampinup card ideas
Isn't Betsy's Blossoms just gorgeous I can think of so many different ways to use this card and I paired it with the new in colors (which I'm so in love with) Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple (lush), Gumball Green, Primrose Petals and a touch of Daffodil Delight.

I made the card base using Whisper White cardstock which is great value.  I wanted a one layer card but did add some dimension by stamping two of the blooms (large and small) from the set and popping them up onto dimensionals.

And here is a close up:

Sweet Baby Card

Have you had a good look through the catalogue and fallen in love with nearly every single new product?  It's easy to miss some of the smaller sets as you flick through and this is one that I only noticed on my second or third happy stroking and browsing of the catalogue.

Its called Two by Two and only comes in wood mounted and costs £7.95 I had to make a baby card and thought I'd give you a little peek - I'll be posting the full set later this week as I made a complete set of items as a gift.

I coloured the image using blender pens and ink pads isn't it the cutest most adorable image perfect for baby cards.

Pretty Butterfly

I was lucky enough to get a try of this gorgeous stamp set and punch from my Sister in Law when she came over from the US when the Olympics were on.

How pretty is this .. are you in love?

I've used four different stamp sets on this card - Creative Elements which is a must for the beautiful scroll swirl that I've used on the background, the small flower from another favourite set of mine Summer Silhouettes and Papillon potpourri and the sentiment is from the set loving thoughts I just love that font. PLUS PLUS have you seen on Page 184 the most gorgeous matching punch for the butterfly.  I love this punch as the butterfly is just so much more realistic than the last one.

Card Details:
Colours for this card are Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and the now retired and very sadly missed Peach Parfait - I just can't bear to part with this colour so you will be seeing some more of it I'm afraid.

I used Whisper White cardstock for my base again another good investment if you are just starting out in card making as you get 40 sheets for £7.50.  I've also used our Vellum and Gems to add a final touch on the punched butterfly.
